What would cause it not going into third gear? Its a three speed tranaxles.?

First let me start by saying.....it's a four speed with overdrive. Next...it sounds to me like your trans is shot.......or it could be the shift solenoid inside the trans....but most likely it's shot. Also you're supposed to change your transmission fluid every 50k miles or so......that'll keep it going smooth.....just a future tip for you. Hope this helps.
