What to do about a broken tooth?

Last month, I had an extraction done on my tooth. The filling kept sinking in, so I had to have them put more filling in the tooth. Tonight, I was eating some gummy candies, and the top of my tooth broke off into my mouth. The whitish filling they put in it is now leaking into my mouth, and I can't see a dentist for at least 4 days (because of the holiday). What do I do? Is this dangerous?
