Our Beko fridge freezer is stuck on auto Defrost. Blowing warm air so is there any way to stop this. Thanks?

A repairman came out and fixed a gas blockage, saying the fridge would be OK. It's now just blowing warm air. A new repair guy has been called, but it would be great to save the expense. Thank you.
