Guys...help? was it right for him to dump me for being to shy?:'( ARE ALL GUYS LIKE THIS??!!?! ?

Im wondering this because I always blush and my bf said it was unattractive I was dumped by him for being too shy. He who was a y jerk, popular etc. When he wanted to invite me to parties with sluts that take their clothes off and I said no he said "you dont know how to have fun" and dumped me infront of all his jerky friends. I spent a whole week crying in bathrooms trying to forget about it but I cant help that im shy and I HATE that about myself! My guy friends said he was an *sshole and they find shy girls attractive and down to earth, also how it was cute that im always nervous and flustered and he was just stupid.what do you guys think? And are all guys like him!
